Range Rover's Brit engines
Land Rover's flagship Range Rover gets some exterior updates for 2006, but the big news is under the hood where two Brit-built Jaguar engines replace the German BMW V8. Gone is the 282-hp BMW engine, replaced by a choice of either a 4.4-liter 305-hp naturally aspirated V8 or a 4.2-liter 400-hp supercharged V8.
The '06 Range Rover debuts at the Detroit auto show and goes on sale this summer.
