Jan. 8--Prantalay Marketing Co has set out to penetrate the ready-to-eat breakfast market with a 15-million-baht marketing budget for the first quarter of this year. It is part of a focus on developing new ready-to-eat meals with an aim to increase that segment's proportion of its revenues to 35 percent by 2006 from 10 percent currently.
At the same time, it is developing chilled products, a new segment of ready-to-eat meals that is gaining in popularity, according to Anurat Khokasai, general manager and marketing manager.
