Jan. 7--The Revenue Department expects the impact on tax revenues from the tsunami to be less than 1 percent of projected revenues this year, according to Sirot Sawadpanish, the department's director-general.
The department, responsible for corporate, personal and value-added tax collections, currently projects tax revenues of 820 billion baht for fiscal 2005.
