Jan. 6--Reggie Shiu, one of the pioneers of the international hotel group Accor in Asia, is now presumed dead, a victim of the tsunami that hit Khao Lak.
While his body has yet to be positively identified, the company is assuming that Mr Shiu, his wife and two of his three children perished in the disaster.
Mr Shiu was senior vice-president in Asia for Accor Asia Pacific, based in Shanghai, where he was responsible for operations and development in Greater China.
