Jan. 4--Kasikornbank plans to rebrand its subsidiaries under a new "K-Group" concept to reinforce the bank's position as a universal provider of financial services.

President Prasarn Trairatvorakul said that all the group's strategic firms would be renamed to start with the letter "K".

The bank's fundnt arm, currently Kasikorn Asset Management, will be renamed K-Asset, while the Kasikorn Research Center will be renamed K-Research.

A similar branding strategy would be taken with the new leasing subsidiary, K-Leasing, which is expected to begin operations in the first half of 2005 with registered capital of 60 ...
