Ctrip to refund tsunami-hit plans
The Chinese operator of a hotel and airline booking Web site will unconditionally refund its customers impacted by the weekend's tsunami in coastal South Asia. Ctrip.com customers who bought vacation products and traveled to tsunami-hit spots such as the Maldives and Phuket during the disaster are entitled to a full refund. Also, customers who've yet to travel may cancel trips and get refunds. Shares, which fell 5% Mon., dipped 1.5% to 46.02.
