They are ranked as the best performing schools because of their religious foundation. Their reputation, prestige and the history there is to protect and preserve. The reason many parents or guardians would find great solace and pride in making sure their children go to such good and high-sounding schools.
Most of the best performing schools have religious inclination, which they always use to foster their principles, norms and values deeply rooted and emphasised, by the school authorities.
No matter the child's religious beliefs, parents drive them to schools with contrary principles and practices, just in the name of performance and probably the 'best future.'
However religious schools always have long-term effects on such students in the future; how they relate, behave, think and do things.Schools like Mt. St. Mary's Namagunga, Our Lady of Good Counsel, Nabisunsa, Trinity College Nabingo, Kibuli Secondary School, Buddo, Gayaza High School, Kawempe Muslim, Mariam High, Mary Hill, Mbarara High, St. Leo's College, tend to have strict religious code to follow.
Vincent a Catholic went to a Muslim school for both his 'O' and 'A' levels and later joined Islamic University, Mbale.
