Chip Foose grew up, literally, amid the car-crazy world of Southern California. By age 12, he had already been tinkering for five years and had already painted his first car, a Porsche 356.
On the advice of Tucker designer Alex Tremulus, Foose attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, graduating with honors in 1990. After an eight-year stint working with the legendary Boyd Coddington, Foose founded his own company, Foose Design, in 1998.
