Bernie Ecclestone faces an anxious wait before learning whether he will retain autocratic control over Formula One, after the banks that own a majority stake in SLEC (the Ecclestone-founded holding company that owns the sport's commercial rights) brought a court case against Formula One Holdings, the company at the center of Ecclestone's complex business empire.
