In our annual holiday gift guide last month we gave you six books to put on your wish list, but that was just the tip of an iceberg. Here are a dozen more good reads to help round out your collection.

Eleven seasons have passed since Honda arrived on the CART scene with Rahal-Hogan Racing. Though CART is history-replaced by Champ Car-and Honda now races in the IRL, fans remember the partnership's early promise and the unceremonious manner in which Bobby Rahal abandoned the program in 1995. In A Winning Adventure, journalists Gordon Kirby and John Oreovicz speak to those involved in that marriage and divorce, and to virtually all the players who helped the company score 65 wins, six consecutive drivers' crowns and four manufacturers' titles in just nine seasons. From Honda Performance Development president Tom Elliott and then-Ganassi driver Alex Zanardi, to 2001's infamous pop-off valve and engine-spec controversies that spurred the company's withdrawal from the series, there is enough here to satisfy hardcore CART followers-if any are left.
