The Public Education Foundation has awarded numerous scholarships to recent graduates from the Clark County School District. Here are some of the awards:

Nery Rivas, a 2004 graduate of Advanced Technologies Academy, received the Gretchen Hauff Memorial Award, worth $500. She is a freshman at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This scholarship is given to a student pursuing a degree in physical education.

Crystal Hemsley, a 2004 graduate of Cheyenne High School, received the Myrna Williams Family Scholarship, worth $500. She is a freshman at the University of Nevada, Reno. This scholarship is given to students…
