Dec. 12--TRINIDAD, Colo. -- Without the economic contribution from natural gas industry over the last nine years, accounting for nearly $3.9 million in property tax revenues and millions more in salaries and wages, the economy of Trinidad and Las Animas County might be running on fumes.
