I'm a single mom who's raising an eight-year-old son on my own. He's a good kid. I'm just working hard, trying to make my life better. I came from Jessie's House (a homeless shelter) and now I'm volunteering there. I want to give back. I hope I can get a job there. There's so much help in this community. My son's involved in the Big Brother program. Everybody helped out when I lived at Jessie's House. I don't need all the help anymore. Now that I'm getting more stable, I want to give back.
