University of New Mexico linebacker Quincy Black lives for the last 45 minutes of football practice.

New Mexico's 20 seniors trot into the locker room, leaving next year's Lobos to mix it up for the final portion of practice. Black and the other underclassmen vie for coaches' attention and respect.

Black sees it as his time to lead, to dig in and show he deserves to take over for starting linebacker Nick Speegle, a decorated senior co-captain.
