DeviceNet Digital Pressure Transmitters incorporate embedded microprocessor technology, in which low-level analog signal of pressure-sensing element is converted to digital value at rate of 20 ms. Digital pressure signal with 13-bit resolution is made available to master control system continuously via DeviceNet bus. Combined with CANbus circuitry, microprocessor monitors health of sensor electronics and reports fault conditions over bus.
