Smith & Nephew's Endoscopy division today announced the launch of the Bioraptor 2.9 suture anchor and the Elite Pass Premium Arthroscopic Suture Shuttle, that expand its suite of shoulder repair products.

Smith & Nephew said its bioabsorbable Bioraptor 2.9 can be implanted in the bony cup of the shoulder socket and serve as an anchor, enabling surgeons to close the tear or tighten the tissue of the labrum around the humeral head.
