Thank you so much for the Tribute to Derek Kyte. Derek was always admired by the technical staff at Merg for his constant creativity as well as his political acumen. He always made the most difficult concept seem easy with a flick of his fag (held between thumb and forefinger) and the comment"... well it's perfectly simple."

I believe that Derek's technical genius was in being able to foresee a method to solving a key problem that made a scheme merchantable, and then putting together a team to work out the details while he sold it to management and marketing. His 202 team was most formidable, and still is.
