While the FDA raids the offices of excellent physicians of integrity, such as Dr. Jonathan Wright, the drug companies are allowed to promote and sell outlandish products that have no rational therapeutic justification. Dr. Wright was nailed and treated like a criminal for daring to use products not "approved" by the FDA that were more pure than those manufactured in the U.S.

Yet the FDA looks the other way while the drug companies peddle a billion dollars' worth of useless and dangerous cold remedies every year. Most of these nostrums contain an antihistaminewhich is for allorgy, not the common cold, and may, in fact, be very dangerous.
