Dec. 4--Siam Paper Plc, a manufacturer of writing and printing papers, has started reviving an expansion project that it had shelved after the economic crisis stalled it seven years ago.
The company on Thursday signed agreements worth a total of 144 million baht with three agencies to improve its paper mill in Nakhon Pathom, where advanced machinery has already been installed. The startup of the expanded paper mill, where capacity ultimately will be increased seven-fold, is scheduled for the middle of next year.
