Dec. 4--The market for affordable condominiums is expected to be among the most lively in the property sector next year, with two SET-listed developers alone planning 5,500 new units.

L.P.N. Development Plc, which has thrived in the low- to medium-priced condo segment, is planning five projects with a total of 4,000 units, while Supalai Plc intends to add another 1,500.

L.P.N. managing director Tikhamporn Plengsrisuk said ample demand remained at the lower end of the market, noting that 10,000 new units in the one-million-baht range were all taken up this year.
