Dec. 3--Tapaco Plc, a Thai engineering plastic parts producer and distributor, saw its shares close down 8.8 percent from their initial public offering price in the company's trading debut yesterday on the Market for Alternative Investment.
The company joins a dozen other recent new listings that have proved disappointing for investors with capital losses on the first day of trade.
Shares of Tapaco (TAPAC) on the MAI ended the day at 11.40 baht in trade worth 95.2 million baht, with an intra-day trading range of 10.90-13.10 baht. The MAI index yesterday gained 0.05 percent to 188.48 points, with the SET index up 0.86 ...
