Dec. 2--The lack of qualified labour has many times been cited as a major factor derailing investment in China, but Beijing is now moving to align its workforce to match the needs of the economy through the opening of vocational training centres.
David Arkless, senior vice-president for corporate affairs of UK-based Manpower, said China was trying to improve its workforce by bringing in world-class expertise to help improve quality.
