Nov. 30--Richard Ciecwisz knows much more than flowers are nourished in the greenhouse at Pinelands Regional Junior High School in Little Egg Harbor; it's also where special-education students gain experience tending to plants they later sell.
That is why Ciecwisz and others formed the Garden State Greenhouse Foundation -- to build on the school program and offer the students a chance to get jobs at a commercial greenhouse when they leave Pinelands.
Ciecwisz said he wants to establish a professional greenhouse where former students can make money to help support themselves.
