Nov. 29--BURLEY, Idaho -- Renae Samples of Burley is retiring from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years.

Samples received a plaque and pins commemorating her 30 years of service. The plaque recognizes Samples as part of the Million Mile Club for attaining one million miles and 30 years of safe driving without an accident. The award is given by the National Safety Council.

BURLEY -- Mike Olsen, hospital administrator at Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley, will leave Cassia Regional on Dec. 1.

Olsen accepted a position as administrator of American Fork Hospital in American Fork, Utah, where he will also be a regional operations officer. American Fork Hospital, like Cassia Regional, is a member of Intermountain Health Care.

The hospital he will join is larger than Cassia Regional, with a 120-patient capacity compared with Cassia's 38.

Olsen, his wife, Chris, and their six children are moving at the end of November.

Cassia Regional's new administrator will start Dec. 20. During the interim, Brian Hickenlooper and Roxanne Olason will be acting administrators.

TWIN FALLS -- Former students currently listed on the "Who's Who Among American High Schools Students," the "Who's Who Among American High Schools Students Sports Edition" or "The National Dean's List" have nominated several local teachers to the "Who's Who Among America's Teachers" publication.
