Garmin International, a unit of Garmin, said the company has received FAA approval for a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) on two aircraft models from Mooney Airplane Co.

The company said the approval paves the way for installation of Garmin's G1000 integrated avionics system on the Ovation2 GX and Bravo GX, which will both feature a dual-display G1000 system.
