2004 NOV 30 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Yuma County, Arizona, health officials distributed hundreds of doses of the flu vaccine to area nursing homes.

The health department distributed 200 doses each to La Mesa Healthcare Center, Yuma Nursing Center, Life Care Center of Yuma, and Palm View Rehabilitation and Care Center.

Elderly and senior citizens are considered among the most high-risk populations who need flu vaccinations.
