VANCOUVER, B.C. -- Three-fourths of fibromyalgia patients have chronic headache, about half with diagnosable migraine, according to an evaluation of 100 patients seen in a fibromyalgia clinic.
Test scores showed that the headaches severely limited ability to function in 80% of patients with headache, Dr. Cynthia Bernstein said at the annual meeting of the American Headache Society. Another 5% were substantially impacted from their headaches.
