F1 fanatics found plenty to enjoy about the 2004 season, and say they will continue to cheer in '05.

Despite Michael Schumacher's dominance, Formula One remains compelling. Jenson Button and BAR-Honda gave me the greatest hope this year, and I was saddened by his shabby attempt to leave for Williams. With any luck Takuma Sato will give BAR its first victory. Spa's return to the calendar was another highlight of 2004.

Bill Frielingsdorf, Silverthorne, Colo.

This season was absolutely worth watching. Ferrari's dominance was awesome, BAR really came alive on Michelin tires, and McLaren finally turned things around. I can't wait for Australia next year. I'll be watching.

Peter T. Grillo, Exton, Pa.

The Jaguar team's Laurel and Hardy show made Formula One worth watching. Mark Webber and Christian Klien's collision with one another in Brazil was a fitting end to the team's dismal efforts.

Bill Wells, Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
