Your editorial was amusing. We are a mechanical contractor, and I would like to pass on to you the job title of two of the people who work here. They are called "strippers." They take a set of prints for a job, and using special software, determine the count of all the pipe, fitting, duct work, and hangers necessary for a given job so that we come up with a fairly accurate shopping list for the bidder putting the package together.
