Challenged by a spectrum of students ranging from high achiever to likely dropout, Clark County's public educators are seeking aid and inspiration from one of the most well-known teachers of the ancient Western world: Socrates.

Last year, Liberty High School, in the Southeast Region, was the first Clark County School District campus to formally incorporate Socratic seminars into its classroom regimes. The move was prompted in part by the school's decision to offer students a classical education with servings of Greek thinking and Latin language.
