With more than a year to go until Ford's Special Vehicle Team completes work on the next SVT Cobra (an '07 model due in '06), SVT and Ford Racing Performance Parts offer catalog suggestions for those who can't wait for the '07 SVT Cobra.
Starting with the current SVT Cobra (in this case an '03 model) with a base price of $33,125, the Ford Racing/SVT partners propose adding nearly $14,000 worth of parts highlighted by a twin-screw supercharger, SVT Cobra R suspension mods and brake kit, and 18-inch chrome wheels.
What's the sum of all these parts? Try 601 hp and 529 lb-ft of torque ...
