Nov. 10--FULSHEAR, Texas -- The developer of a proposed airport in west Fort Bend County will amend his application to federal aviation authorities so the runway does not pose air-traffic concerns.

The Federal Aviation Administration ruled that air traffic from Houston JetPort West would conflict with three small airports in the area.

Rick Asper, of Aviation Professionals Group, the Florida-based firm coordinating the project for the airport's owner, Ron Henricksen, said the northwest-to-southeast runway alignment will be altered.

He said engineers are already working on the new plan.
