UK private bank Courts & Co is stepping up its activities in the Middle East, with the appointment of three private bankers to service the region and a further three to join the regional effort in 2005. The bank is also considering the possibility of opening an office in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Nader Shenouda has joined the bank's London team from Merrill Lynch. He will manage activities in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon.
