For the first time in nearly a year, the La Cueva football team didn't look invincible or absolutely perfect.
But one helpful call and their usual dominating defense helped the No. 1-ranked Bears to a 21-0 win against No. 4 Highland on Friday night at Wilson Stadium.
The win was La Cueva's 22nd straight and allowed the team to clinch its third straight District 2-5A title.
