As much as Ferrari owes Michael Schumacher for its six F1 titles, credit also goes to team manager Jean Todt. Todt, who recently added the title of managing director of passenger cars to his official duties, spent a few minutes with us en route to the Chinese Grand Prix.
AW: What are your biggest challenges as you take over this new role?
Todt: Probably the hardest thing is the transfer of technology from F1 to the road cars. We can see that on the Enzo and on the F430. I see very significant improvement every day.
AW: Are there any gaps in the existing product line?
Todt: No. We make coupe and spider eight-cylinders, we make a two-seater 575 Maranello, we make a 2+2 Scaglietti, a limited-edition Enzo, and definitely those cars will have more evolution for the future. But we ...
