Nov. 4--Media of Medias Plc, a SET-listed television programme producer, will next year focus more on expanding its new-media business including the setup of a satellite television channel as part of its plan to reduce financial dependence on the free-to-air television business.
Currently, the company's total sales revenue come from 11 television programmes, including two top hits on Channel 5 -- This is Thailand and Baan Lek Thi 5.
A 70 percent stake in Media of Medias is now controlled by Bangkok Broadcasting & TV Co, the operator of the country's top-rated television Channel 7.
