Nov. 3--At least 400,000 people are expected to turn out for the SET in the City exhibition later this month, a four-day conference aimed at educating retail investors about the capital market and personal investment strategies.
Kittiratt Na Ranong, the president of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, said the market expected a 30 percent increase in attendance from the 300,000 people attending last year's exhibition.
This year's SET in the City, the third held by the SET and Money & Banking magazine, will take place from Nov 11-14 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre under the theme "Shareholders: the Power of Ownership".
