Owner of Denver shopping center seeks dismissal of tenant's lawsuit.

Nov. 2--The owner of Cherry Creek Shopping Center has asked a federal judge to dismiss a case filed against it in a dispute over space currently rented by Lord & Taylor.
Attorneys for Taubman-Cherry Creek LP, the mall's owner, said the tenant-landlord dispute would be better left to a state court, according to documents filed late last week. They are also arguing that a judgment would not adequately resolve the issue -- partly because other stores that could be affected by the decision were not included in the suit.
