Five Rivers Electronic Innovations LLC always held its own during years of fighting underpriced Chinese imports.

But the last U.S.-owned television maker in the country was done in two weeks ago when Philips Consumer Electronic Co. terminated a product line.

Five Rivers filed in the U.S Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee in Greeneville on Oct. 26 with two subsidiaries, Creative Moldings LLC and Distribution Services LLC. Motions to jointly administer the cases have been filed.
