Nov. 2--With 65 percent of the shampoos sold locally positioned as beauty products, Unilever Thai Trading Ltd has introduced a new variety of its Clinic Clear anti-dandruff shampoo with more of a cosmetic scent.
Wannipa Bhakdibutra, managing director for the company's personal-care product business, said that besides beauty shampoos, another 30 percent of the total market consisted of medicated products such as anti-dandruff preparations, with baby shampoo taking up the remaining 5 percent.
