Nov. 1--Mothercare, a British mother-and-child specialty store chain, projects a 200 percent rise in sales this year thanks to the opening of its flagship outlet in Thailand and growing market demand.
Lidarin Nandhabiwat, managing director of 3LN Co, the local franchisee of Mothercare, said sales were expected to reach 45 million baht this year.
The company opened its flagship store on Soi Thong Lo last week with an investment of eight million baht. It also has sales points at The Emporium, Central Chidlom department store and The Mall Ngam Wong Wan.
