Cytyc Corp. announces a multiyear agreement for ThinPrep Imaging System.
2004 NOV 4 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Cytyc Corp. (CYTC) announced a multiyear agreement to place ThinPrep Imaging Systems within LabOne, Inc.'s (LABS) laboratory in the greater Kansas City, Missouri, area.
This LabOne location is the highest volume single-site testing laboratory in the country, according to the company, and provides diagnostic healthcare testing to physicians, hospitals, managed care organizations, and employers nationwide.
"We have chosen to work with Cytyc's imaging system and technology due to the increasing demand for the product from our physician clients," said W. Thomas Grant II, chairman, president, and CEO of LabOne. "Our goal is to continue to offer clients testing alternatives that they are comfortable with as physicians and caregivers."
