2004 NOV 3 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- A monkey that bit a utility worker has been returned to its owner after receiving a clean bill of health.
Authorities removed the Capuchin monkey from Sue Kriz's home in Shueyville after it bit the utility worker last month. The monkey was kept in rabies quarantine for 2 weeks and tested for tuberculosis, said Misha Goodman, director of the Iowa City-Coralville Animal Care and Adoption Center.
Bubba, the 12-year-old monkey, was picked up at the center, by his owner after test results came back, Goodman said.
