Oct. 29--GlaxoSmithKline P.L.C. said yesterday it can supply U.S. health officials with 4 million doses of its Fluarix influenza vaccine from a manufacturing plant in Germany between now and January.

Federal officials announced yesterday that 5 million additional doses of flu vaccine can be supplied -- 4 million from Glaxo and 1 million from a Canadian company, ID Biomedical.

Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy G. Thompson said at a press conference in Washington that inspectors from the Food and Drug Administration would be going to flu vaccine production plants in Germany and Quebec, Canada, next week to confirm that ...
