Oct. 26--Seattle Times Washington bureau Boeing executive Bob Watt delivered the news. Boeing is canceling a $2,500 payment to a Republican legislative campaign group after the group sent out fliers targeting lawmakers who voted to increase the gas tax last year.
The Leadership Council, one of the political-action committees of Senate Republicans, paid for mailers criticizing two Democrats who supported the nickel gas-tax increase.
