Colleton County School District officials said the mold found last month in several mobile units at Cottageville Elementary School isn't harmful.

The district said workers installed new windows and doors and placed new tile on the floor as part of an independent contractor's recommendation. Several classes also were relocated to other parts of the school.

District officials said they hope to have pupils back in the classrooms soon but didn't give a date.
