HART: Fewer things are more enjoyable than a drop-top ride in the fall, and this is a great car with the top down. The TT still stands as a monument to great interior design. It's highly stylized, to be sure, but it all works harmoniously to give you a great feeling from behind the wheel. Even coming from seeing the latest and greatest at the Paris show, the TT design, inside and out, holds up.
Using the Direct Shift Gearbox to snap off gear changes is fun and efficient, a much better system than the one BMW employs. And if you don't want to shift yourself, as an automatic it's pretty good. Audi need just build a bit more creep into the tranny, however; moving the car around in my garage was a bit of a herky-jerky proposition. Yes, DSG is a compromise to an extent, but ...
