Oct. 19--Employees are laying the final tiles and tweaking display cases in what will be San Diego County's largest Wal-Mart: a 167,000-square-foot store in El Cajon that opens at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow.

The store, which joins 16 Wal-Marts in San Diego County, is the nation's first two-story Wal-Mart to be built from the ground up. It is slightly larger than other company outlets, which average about 135,000 square feet. Retail analysts expect the store, which is located in the Westfield Shoppingtown Parkway, to generate sales tax revenue of roughly $650,000 for the city.
