Oct. 15--BRICK, N.J. -- The township's skateboard park will remain where it is -- at least for now.
After a discussion with a representative from the company that made the equipment about the possibility of moving the park -- currently in the Drum Point sports complex -- to one farther away from the Emma Havens Young Elementary School, township Business Administrator Scott R. MacFadden said he believes he acted impetuously in saying the equipment should be moved.
By waiting until next spring, MacFadden said he believes park attendance will level out. Other factors -- such as the more than $10,000 cost of moving the equipment…
