After reaching a milestone in years, Lin Ong knew it was time to go, family members say.
Ong died in her sleep Monday morning, after telling relatives she had lived long enough, said Debbie Stevens, her granddaughter.
"She knew. She was telling everybody to make sure they had keys to the house and to lock up. She was always tending to business," Stevens said. "It was very peaceful. It was a blessing. She didn't die from some awful disease or anything."
